]]>Elegant pale yellow, with a bouquet reminiscent of pineapple and lemon. The palate is fresh and crisp, with a great minerality and a long and lingering finish. Perfect on its own or to accompany white meats, fish or fresh pasta dishes.
Castillo de Mureva Verdejo Organic
A fresh and crisp wine has flowery and fruity aromas. On the palate, it has a rich smooth body with balanced acidity and hints of fennel, herbs, citrus fruits, melon and peach. Zesty and aromatic with a soft, ripe fruit an ideal partner for flavoursome seafood dishes.
Vinuva Organic Pinot Grigio
Organic wines are becoming more available although they tend to be more expensive. Sicily is however an exception in producing very drinkable and affordable examples such as this ripe, apple hinted Pinot Grigio. Light and refreshing, a mouth-watering partner for salads and seafood. 11.5% abv
Allumea Organic Nero D-Avola Merlot
The vines used to produce this wine are an average of 25 years old. Certified organic and suitable for vegans; wines are unoaked, fruit forward and easy drinking. The perfect partner to Barbeque, Bolognese and Blue Cheese.
Vinuva Organic Nero D’Avola, Terra Siciliene
Overtly fruity with sweet blueberry and bilberry on a soft palate with a touch of spice. Sicily is the go-to region for affordable organic wines, and the Nero d’Avola grape’s inky black fruit is deservedly getting increased appreciation. A fine choice for pasta, roasted or grilled lamb and mushroom dishes. 13% abv.
Gewürztraminer Alsace Tradition Organic, Emile Beyer
The Gewürztraminer grapes are handpicked quite late, in October, from vineyards planted on limestone soils. After a gentle pressing and light cold settling, the wines are fermenting with natural yeasts in stainless steel tanks. The wine is aged on the fine lees for four months and no malolactic fermentation is carried out. Shows floral aromas of rose nuanced with orange blossom and hints of spicy ginger; the palate finishes with a delicate sweetness.
