I must say the customer service at Hook Norton is like their Mild, second to none. The Mild is one of the best if not The Best around. As for the staff, I cannot fault them, I had a little problem with delivery and they went out of their way to sort it for me.
Thanks I will definitely be ordering again.

Have been a mild drinker all my life and really miss the demise of mild in most pubs, but this is a delightful drink which I could get at my local pre Covid, but not anymore so have to seek out bottles which are very good indeed. A real session ale and light enough to enjoy during the week as well. Well worth a try if you can get your hands on some.

This is a fantastic beer and one of those that is very easy drinking either cold from the fridge or during the colder months it great at room temperature.

Having sampled wines from the Caucasus years ago I’ve seldom seen them available in the UK, so I was pleased when a friend let me know of this one. A very enjoyable drop for anyone looking for something a bit out of the usual. I don’t claim to be an aficionado but I found it rich and mellow without beating you over the head with its character. Paired it with a beef stew and I must admit the cork didn’t go back in the bottle for the rest of the evening. Reds can have an unfortunate effect on me when that happens but I’m pleased to say I got up feeling fine today. Very reasonably priced for the high quality as well. Would definitely recommend.

Bought some of this the other day because I prefer wines of 12.5% and not the full headache 14% stuff that everyone churns out, boringly. This is a very decent wine altogether: light and enjoyable, no nasty tempers that people get from the heavy duty dull eyed, slow blink, thick making kit that passes for wine these days. No nasty headaches with this one, no upset gut, good with just about anything or just quaffing quietly away. Haven’t enjoyed a wine as much for a good while and at such a reasonable sum. And slept after it which I never do on the 14%.

One of my favourite Hook Norton beers. A subtle but dark taste and nice malty aroma. Light enough for midweek drinking.

Bought one of these 18 pint polypins at the end of January and simultaneously 12 x 75cl kilner capped bottles from Wilko. Decanted into bottles and it lasts much more than the recommended 3 to 4 days ‘consume’ period. I have loved this beer from yesteryear when I lived in the Cotswolds. It is a truly magnificent real ale in every sense. Now I find I can keep it longer once opened I shall buy again. It is the nearest thing to a pint drawn from the barrel.

I have always found this wine to be very very pleasant, to my taste a medium bodied easily drinking wine, that my whole family have enjoyed.
